Webhooks

Webhooks are a standardized way to allow different applications from different vendors to interact using a simple HTTPS-based communication method. OmniCenter offers webhooks as an option for action groups.

Webhook payloads can include JSON, XML, CSV, HTML, or plain text data. All of the regular OmniCenter macros are also available for inclusion—as well as a “webhook only” macro {SUBJ}, which will provide the title of the incident that initiated the webhook call. Any macros in the payload are translated before the webhook call is sent.
